Happy New Year. I am writing to provide you with a list of the coffee meetings for the next year and to let you know about a few housekeeping details. The dates and times are as follows:

Tuesday 3rd of March11am - 2pm
Friday 3rd of April11am - 2pm
Wednesday 6th of May11am - 2pm
Friday 5th of June11am - 2pm
Wednesday 5th of August11am - 2pm
Friday 11th of September11am - 2pm
Tuesday 13th of October11am - 2pm
Monday 16th of November11am - 2pm
Friday 11th of December11am - 5pm

The December meeting is 'Open House', with food and drinks.

We meet most months at my home - address as above - which is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre and the bus and train stations. Parking outside my home is scarce and meter payable, with a maximum time limit of an hour. Just around the corner (2 to 5 minutes walk away) there are parking spaces that allow up to four hours - currently £1 per hour. Please be aware that the Traffic Wardens are very sharp and give tickets for being just a couple of minutes overdue.

My house is very cosy so unfortunately I cannot accommodate buggies indoors and would ask that you leave them in the garden by the back door – I can provide plastic covers if it is raining.

If you have any baby stuff to sell or pass forward you are welcome to bring it along (you might wish to e-mail me first, so I can advertise it for you), however unsold items will need to be removed as I have no facilities for storing things.

I would love to see you no matter how old your baby is and older children are welcome.

There is no charge and you can bring any friends as long as it is home birth they are interested in, they don’t have to be a TVIM client.

You can also bring relatives and partners.

It is wise to text before you come in case I have been called out to a woman in labour.

If anyone would be interested in having small workshops on any aspect of pregnancy, birth, parenting and motherhood e.g. infant feeding and food, real nappies, nursing children through childhood illness, please let me know and we can run a small informal workshop as part of the meeting.

I look forward to seeing you soon
XX Elaine
